Where to buy Vegemite and Tim Tams in the US

Scraped the bottom of your last jar of Vegemite and the next one’s a long-haul flight away? You can get it in the US without a care package from home.

Can you buy Vegemite in America?

Yes. World Market stocks both Vegemite and Tim Tams in its Australian aisle, in store and online. On the East Coast, Wegmans carries both, and Target sells Tim Tams. Stock changes from store to store, so check the store’s page before you go.

Can you buy Tim Tams in America?

Yes. Tim Tams first landed in the US in November 2008, when Pepperidge Farm brought them in through Target. Today they’re sold under the Arnott’s name and they’re still made in Australia. The American packs call them “cookies”, not biscuits.

The US range is Original, Chewy Caramel, Dark Mint, Extra Chocolatey and Dark, plus a gluten-free Original. Besides World Market and Wegmans, you’ll find them at Target, Albertsons, Publix and Sam’s Club.

Where can you buy Vegemite and Tim Tams in stores?

World Market: the best bet for both

If you only check one shop, make it World Market (Cost Plus World Market). Its Australian aisle has:

• Vegemite, the 220 g (7.7 oz) jar. $10.99 as of 28 Oct 2026.
• Tim Tams in Original, Extra Chocolaty, Chewy Caramel, Mint Dark, Dark and an Original family pack. The standard 200 g (7 oz) Original was $5.99 as of 28 Oct 2026.
• Also in the aisle: Bundaberg ginger beer, Violet Crumble, Darrell Lea licorice and Anzac biscuits.

Online stock changes by flavour and by store, so don’t count on every flavour being there. Find your nearest shop with the World Market store finder, then pick that store on the Vegemite or Tim Tam page to see if it can do pickup.

Wegmans: East Coast

Wegmans lists Vegemite in the 220 g jar and Tim Tam Original. Prices and stock vary by store, so choose yours on the product page.

Target and other supermarkets: Tim Tams

Target sells the 200 g (7 oz) Tim Tam Original. Pick your store on that page or use the Target store locator to see if it’s on the shelf near you. If you shop at Albertsons, Publix or Sam’s Club, have a look in the cookie aisle too.

Where can you buy Vegemite in NYC?

As of October 2026 there’s no World Market anywhere in New York State, so New Yorkers need a Plan B. Wegmans has two stores in the city, at Astor Place in Manhattan and in Brooklyn. Choose one of those on the Wegmans Vegemite page before you go. Otherwise, order from one of the online shops below.

LA has it easy. World Market has two stores in Los Angeles itself, plus Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Sherman Oaks and Torrance. Look them up on the California store list, then check the product page for your store.

Where can you buy Tim Tams in Texas and California?

As of October 2026, these two states have the most World Market stores: 53 in California and 28 in Texas. In Texas that includes Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. Add Target and, we reckon, you’re never far from a packet.

Where can you buy Vegemite in a tube?

US supermarkets mostly stock the jar. For the Vegemite Squeezy, the 350 g (12.3 oz) squeeze bottle, or Tim Tam flavours like Double Coat, White and Iced VoVo, go online:

• Treats From Oz: an “Aus-merican” family business that ships worldwide. It stocks the Squeezy, jars up to 560 g (19.8 oz) and heaps of Tim Tam flavours.
• The Australian Food Shop: ships straight from its warehouse in New South Wales and prices in US dollars. It lists the Squeezy (on backorder when we checked on 28 Oct), plus Tim Tams and the rest of the pantry.
• Aussie Food Express: based in Mason, Ohio, with Vegemite jars and Tim Tams including Double Coat and Classic Dark. If you’re nearby, you can shop at the warehouse. Ring or email first to book a time.

How do you eat Vegemite and Tim Tams properly?

Vegemite: hot toast, plenty of butter, then a thin scrape. It’s a yeast extract, so a little goes a long way.

Tim Tams: do the Tim Tam Slam. Bite off two diagonally opposite corners, then use the biscuit as a straw to sip a hot drink.
